Eminem Reignites Feud with Benzino in Latest Lyrical Lemonade Track

Lyrical lemonade track eminem goes after benzino

Eminem has reignited his long-standing feud with Benzino in a new track featured on Lyrical Lemonade’s debut album, “All Is Yellow,” released on Friday. The Detroit-born rapper took shots at Benzino, a former star of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” who openly admitted last year to blocking Eminem’s album “The Eminem Show” from receiving a five-star rating in his magazine, The Source, back in 2002.

The track in question, “Doomsday Pt. 2,” follows “Doomsday” and features the late rapper Juice WRLD and Cordae. Eminem’s lyrics target Benzino’s physical appearance and potentially challenging financial situation. The rapper cleverly incorporates a riddle into his lyrics, playfully asking, “What is the opposite of Benzino? A giraffe.” This leads to a humorous jab at Benzino’s neck, emphasizing that Eminem can’t “go at his neck” because “How can I go at somethin’ he doesn’t have?”

Continuing with the insults, Eminem references Benzino’s financial situation: “Sorry, I don’t mean to upset you, Ben’/ When I talk about all the debt you in.” The rapper doesn’t hold back, making it clear that he finds amusement in pointing out Benzino’s alleged financial troubles. He also mentions missing out on a potential collaboration with Benzino’s daughter, Coi Leray, suggesting that the opportunity may have gone down the drain: “But this doesn’t bring me no joy to say, Guess that Coi Leray feat’s in the toilet, ay?”

It’s worth noting that fans have observed that both “Doomsday” and “Doomsday Pt. 2” share the same beat as Eminem’s 1999 track, “Role Model.” This adds an interesting layer to the feud, as the two artists have a history of dissing each other in various tracks, such as Benzino’s “Pull Your Skirt Up” and Eminem’s “Nail in the Coffin.”

Eminem’s collaboration with Lyrical Lemonade’s debut album features an impressive lineup of artists, including Kid Cudi, Lil Yachty, Latto, Jack Harlow, Swae Lee, Juicy J, and Chief Keef. The rapper’s ability to seamlessly weave disses into his verses continues to showcase his lyrical prowess and keeps the flame alive in his ongoing feud with Benzino. As fans eagerly dissect the lyrics, it’s clear that Eminem’s talent for wordplay and his knack for engaging in rap battles remain as sharp as ever.
